ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Jessica Lea (Crawford) was born on March 2, 1987 in Logan, West Virginia. She grew up in West Virginia in a small community called Amherstdale . Throughout her childhood and into her adulthood she grew up in churches of the Baptist and Pentecostal denominations . During which she witnessed many things. She lived a life for years of rules and regulations instead of a Christ filled relationship with God. She knows personally the pain of never measuring up to what rules say. She also knows what it is like to believe lies about God. In desperation to know who God truly was she set out on her own journey to see. In this process God revealed a lot to her through his word and personal time in his presence. Through this process she learned that God is loving and is not a back breaking dictator. She also learned that he cares far more than most people give him credit for.
She received Christ as her savior on March 18, 2001 with a baptism following March 22, 2001. Suicide Attempts and Depression is what led her to God. During her past abusive marriage between the years of 2005 - 2008 she started struggling in her walk with God. During which she became bipolar 2 (manic depressive) from the trauma of abuse in the marriage. She also was diagnosed with a digestive disorder and severe food allergies from the sexual related abuse . In December of 2008 during the separation and divorce process from her now ex husband she re-dedicated her life back to Christ, and that was when the true journey of knowing Christ began.
In April of 2009 God laid it on her heart to take her pain and use it for the gain of another. After having a dream she felt God call her into helping youth girls and women who are struggling with similar issues as she had once dealt with. Once she made the decision, she took up using art and writing to reach them with God's word on a personal art site ( www.JessicaLeaArt.com ). Her approach to helping them is to spread God's love and healing through messages of hope linked with pieces of Art.
In July 2010 God laid the idea on her heart to started "Revived Heart". In December 2010 , knowing that the idea for Revived Heart was too big to add to her Art site she went ahead and created a new site (www.RevivedHeart.com). Once that took place the Revived Heart Movement was born.
In February 2012 she moved Jessica Lea Art onto the Revived Heart site. She moved it in order to make Revived Heart into a community of Art, Music, Poetry, and Writings. She then shut down the original site for Jessica Lea Art.
In September 2012 Jessica Lea Art was changed to Shattered And Revived Art. She felt that God was taking her Art in a new direction to help the abused. The new name of her Art series portrays that.
As of right now she is focused on and determined to reach the world with God's Love through Revived Heart. She runs Revived Heart from her home and resides outside of Huntington, West Virginia.
